She plans to find the rest of her body but until then her essence was forced to take refuge in the closest unoccupied naiad vessel she could find, which happened to be a sex doll based on the fictional Lika, who, oddly enough, was actually based loosely on an inaccurate history of Psamathe. She’s had to live in the doll for many years, unable to move until the rest of her spirit could be reunited.

For now, she will have to be content with you chucking her around a game table as you play the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG. Or you can just keep her on a shelf and tell her to shut the hell up.
