When Salazar Slytherin founded the house he believed that having the ambition, determination and drive to bend the fabric of reality to your will to was the most important thing for the study of magic, and instilled these beliefs in his students.

 The front of the coin depicts a snake coiled & draped gracefully around the border. In its mouth it holds Salazar's locket. On the back of the coin the majestic reptile can be seen is coiled around the Slytherin S. Around the circumference of the coin is a regal floral design and across the top is a plate with the official identification number, denoting this limited edition collectors piece as one of a kind.
