Yuri Sakazaki, Ryo Sakazaki's sister and Takuma Sakazaki's daughter, joined Kyokugenryu for reasons that had nothing to do with formal training. Her brother and father were always absent, and she refused to just wait at home. From clumsy beginnings to the self-assured demeanor she displays today, she walked a very different path from the two of them: In Yuri's hands, the hardness of Kyokugenryu transforms into lightness. Her Ko'ou Ken does not yet reach the power of her brother's Ko'ou Ken, but it is faster and more flexible, like an arrow shot unexpectedly. Hien Shippu Kyaku is no longer a desperate forward rush, but a true flying swallow that glides nimbly across the battlefield, can change direction at any time, and describes an arc through the air before it strikes with precision. Her true trademark, however, is Raiou Ken, a powerful thrust from the air that combines the strength of Kyokugenryu with her unique agility. No one else has mastered this technique. She developed it herself. When the fight must be decided, she can also unleash Haoh Shokoken.
